This is not necessarily about maintaining full-scale genocide in Gaza at all times, but about keeping the Strip trapped in a condition of permanent instability—one that allows Israel to violate the October 10 ceasefire agreement at will, recalibrating violence while avoiding the political fallout associated with openly sustained mass killing.
The actions right now in this narrow slice of time don't rise to that level, although I have seen reports from today that within the last 24 hours, “Israel” has been attacking more ferociously.
I recall last year during the first pretend ceasefire, they used a big news day in the USA to do exactly that.
They look to be mathematically iterating on intensity levels, trying to find a maximum atrocity level that won't be a stable pattern, so that they can avoid additional ICC/ICJ censure because it doesn't quite meet a preexisting standard or precedent.
So everyone needs to capture as much as possible about what was going on during each attack. Expanding the data that's captured will alllow better pattern recognition.
Everything should be captured, like a diary of the recent events. For example:
Big news day for the American left or for the MSM? What was going on?
Preceded by claims of a Palestinian or Hamas violation? (Possibly a false flag? Gather all evidence and what others say).
When was the last “terror act” outside of Israel? What chest-pushing has Netanyahu et al been doing? Did a country give in to Jewish colonial demands, and when?
There's that, too, but this approach also seems connected to an AI program they use. They have several programs, each of which do distinct functions, and used together, they create a decision, is this target good to strike now. And then iterate through, much more than the strike teams can even carry out. +972 Magazine has reported on it, and so has @MK Sensei, I think last summer.
One of the programs asks, "has there ever been blowback to this mode or profile of strike before?"
One can model how it might iteratively approach the question if also given the instructions: maximize [casualty, mortality, babies, medics, knees, genitalia, __] -- any of the categories that they've been observed to cluster on, in a noticeable timeframe such as "knees day, testicles day" etc.
It would probably be able to notice that strikes get less media attention with other major news in the mix. Fewer media reports means fewer of that type of evidence available for the ICC. So the AI would probably notice the Minneapolis news blowup, or even predict it as soon as it happened, and start creating more targets for the strike teams to execute.
It's probably not a MO that's ever been rescinded, because they really don't want to stop. For their own reasons down in the ranks, not just Netanyahu. Or even just the religious gang orbiting Smotrich and Ben-Gvir and all the pro-settlement ministers.
Once violence and deprivation tips over into genocide it is genocide. A few days when only a couple of people are killed doesn’t halt the genocide. Not until the shooting, the bombing and the starvation are halted and reparations are started will it cease being a genocide. The illness and death as a result of destroyed hospitals and starvation, of cold and wet and unhygienic conditions will continue to take their toll.
What do you mean "teetering on the brink?" It was arguably genocide before Oct. 7. It's been full-blown genocide since Oct. 8.

Preceded by a meeting with Trump?
Etc.
In short, Netanyahu wants to keep raining death and destruction on these poor souls so as to save his hide.

Bottom line. Trump, congress, and Israel are committing massive, willful genocide war crimes and should all be in jail in Nuremberg.
Agree.

Jews committed genocide in 2025. Part of history now.
